Paradise

(Thrifted crop top, thrifted lightweight cardigan, thrifted Wrangler high waisted shorts, eBay black bag)

Vanessa's Dumpling House in Williamsburg

Brooklyn Bridge Park is always going to be one of my favorite places to go to especially during the summer. My friends and I grabbed some ice cream and just chilled on a nice lawn for a few hours. For dinner we took the L train to Bedford Ave and got dumplings and beer. Nothing beats cheap food with good company and we were so full believe it or not!

Barely Warm

(H&M sweater, H&M cross pants; Forever 21 collar necklace; Urban Outfitters Deena & Ozzy platform boots)

Real friends take pictures of you despite the freezing temperatures. I think my friends have gotten used to my whining
and insisting to take a few shots of my outfits. "It's for your blog. I know, I know..." That's friendship.

I also tried Bareburger for the first time at Forest Hills. They have other branches throughout NYC too. Let me just say,
I never thought organic burgers would taste so good. The onion rings are the bomb.  It's better than Shake Shack!

Sushi Night

I had a late birthday celebration with my best friends last night out at Sushi Island.
There's nothing better than good food, good vibes, with good friends! C'est la belle vie!

Philadelphia roll, Chicken tempura roll, Shrimp tempura roll
My fried cheesecake birthday cake
Spicy crab roll & spicy tuna roll
One of my gifts: shot glasses!

Instagram Summer Diary Pt. 2

I hope you guys don't mind these personal posts. If anyone is planning to visit NYC
or just wondering any good places to go around here, just take at look at some of my IG diary posts
or follow me on instagram. (: @love_confides

My ultimate summer OOTDs are maxi skirts, basic tops, and flowy shorts. It's the season for "lazy fashion" if you ask me.

I went thrifting with my best friend at Salvation army. My favorite finds includes a floral blazer & this vintage LV crop top.

Finally had a sleepover this summer with my best friend. Of course we got Thai food (our favorite) & Dulce de Leche ice cream.

Took a day off from work for my cousin's birthday & we went cruising around the city and chilled at Washington Square Park.

Beef kimpbap from Woorijup & Caramel frapp with chocolate whipped cream (yes it exists & you will go to heaven) from Starbucks.

Bought a new nail polish & ring --- and of course some new arm candy (the rose gold bracelets)

Took a trip to Long Island to see relatives for a reunion.

Self explanitory. Reunions = FOOD and lots of it. Feast your eyes on these beauties. Hungry?

And of course, capturing a couple of summer sunsets is the icing on top of the cake.
Left one is from Times Square and right one is from Brooklyn overlooking the Verazzano Bridge.

OOTD: Outlet Shopping

On Saturday my family and I went shopping at Tanger Outlets at Long Island.
It's been so long since we shopped together along with my cousins. Everyone left with bags and beat-up wallets.
The buy I'm most excited about is a pair of T-strap heels from Bass. It was originally $100 and they had 80% off sale
that made it only $20. This is why I love shopping at outlets! I got a few more things so maybe I'll put up a haul soon.

(Scarf print top - thrifted, Navy blue circle skirt - Forever 21, Yellow flats - gift from my aunt)

Le new babies

We literally shopped until the sun went down!

For dinner, we fueled up at The Cheesecake Factory at Mineola.

"California Cheese-steak" with sweet potato fries on the side. *__* so yummy!

I've been having just a boat-load of cool summery desserts like raspado and lots of ice cream.

A couple shots of neckbling. Topshop collar chain tips & a Forever21 chain necklace.
I think I'll lay off necklaces for the rest of the season and stick to collar tips though, it's to hot and
sticky having anything around my neck.

Summer would not be complete without a trip to Coney Island/Luna Park. After work, I spent friday
night with one of my best friends there. We got some hotdogs and ate by the ocean, played games at
the arcade, won a Stewie doll, and lastly (which is what I came here for) watch fireworks.

(LOL AT STEWIE)

I watched The Dark Knight rises with my cousins and I went simplistic with black shorts, a floral top,
and my cute bow chain bag. We got some gnarly curly fries and the nice lady gave us free chicken
tenders each ^__^ they were soo soo good. And the movie was awesome!

And of course, my summer pretty much revolves around quality time with family and our
almost weekly BBQs. We had 2 this weekend, one on saturday and an even bigger one on sunday.
If you guys ever come by New York in Queens, hit me up -- I can feed you! ;D
