Sunday Attire

(Details: Thrifted white cardigan, Forever 21 polkadot turtleneck croptop, Gold chain, Navy blue circle skirt, Studded ankle boots)

It just dawned on me that I rarely wear white, or patterns. But behold, I really liked this outfit. I wore it to church today and without a doubt, this is something I would repeat wearing again. Yep.

Barely Warm

(H&M sweater, H&M cross pants; Forever 21 collar necklace; Urban Outfitters Deena & Ozzy platform boots)

Real friends take pictures of you despite the freezing temperatures. I think my friends have gotten used to my whining
and insisting to take a few shots of my outfits. "It's for your blog. I know, I know..." That's friendship.

I also tried Bareburger for the first time at Forest Hills. They have other branches throughout NYC too. Let me just say,
I never thought organic burgers would taste so good. The onion rings are the bomb.  It's better than Shake Shack!

Chloe look-a-like // Steve Madden Madhouse

( H&M leather jacket; F21 red lace dress; chain necklace ; Steven Madden Madhouse boots )

You have no idea what I had to go through to get these boots.....
At long last, I got myself the one thing I wanted for my birthday. They'll do until I can afford Chloe.

Camouflage

I fall inlove with this camo jacket every single time I wear it. I just wish it was warm enough to last all winter long.
I also tested out this new app called VSCO Cam on my iphone. I love how it makes photos look like film!

Thrifted camouflage jacket
Thrifted oatmeal knitted cardigan; Target denim buttondown
F21 black velvet leggings; Black gold bottom-studded bag.
Deena & Ozzy platform boots form Urban Outfitters; DIY spikes
Happy sunday ya'll!

Christmas Day

(H&M cheetah cardigan, AA burgundy velvet croptop, Thrifted leather skirt, Deena & Ozzy platform boots with DIY spikes, F21 heart printed tights)

Nothing says happy holidays than prints, velvet, leather, & spikes. Plus, this is the perfect time for me to embrace my first pair of platform boots.
They were on sale at Urban Outfitters for $20 so I thought I might as well amp up the badass factor and deck it out with some spikes. NYC subway
riders are going to hate me when I squish inside the train on crowded rush hours. Oh well, tis the season!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Edgy Plaid + Wishlist

( H&M spike necklace - thrifted Uniqlo flannel - Forever21 black jeans - spike bracelet )

Just a quick, guilt-filled outfit of the day after disappearing for the last two weeks. Bear with me, I'm in crunch time with presentations,
papers, and finals. Plus, the weather's been freezing and I retreated back to my boring outfit routines. But once this semester
is over and I get a certain secret upgrade via my mom (I'll reveal it once I get it) then I'll be back to regular posts! (:

Floral blazer // Studded ankle boots

(Thrifted floral blazer; black jeans; Urban Outfitters structured bag; Studded tassel booties here)

Look how derpy my face is in the second picture. But more importantly, this bag was on sale at UO from $60 to...wait for it...$20!
I can't even express the amount of satisfaction & joy I have when I got it. Also, I'm just oh so happy that blazer season is at its peak.
I thrifted this floral blazer over the summer and have been waiting for the perfect moment to wear it. I know the pattern doesn't
exactly scream autumn but I'm sure it'll make a re-appearance by next spring. (:

Weather-confused

( Topshop burdgundy crop tee; Forever21 printed maxi skirt; thrifted black cardigan )

Last saturday, the weather was tugging & pulling with warm & cold. When I was out during the morning I had a thick chiffon shirt and black jeans and I was sweating. I went back home before heading out again and decided to switch to a crop top & maxi skirt. It was perfect, until the temperature dropped to 55 degrees by 6pm. Good thing I had a cardigan just in case.

Neon Pink, Tribal Nails, and DIY two-finger chain ring

(Gabriella Dolman Top in neon pink from Necessary Clothing, various arm candy from Forever21, gold collar necklace from H&M)

(Tribal nails: Essie Tart Deco, Essie Sand Tropez, AA neon yellow nailpolish)

(DIY two-finger chain ring: 2 ring blanks, 2 jump rings, some silver chain)

The weather was beautiful and I wanted to compete with the sun so I pulled out my new bright neon pink button-down. I'm in love with the color! Last night I also decided to get back on my nail art flow and did a tribal pattern on my nails using Essie Tart Deco, Essie Sand Tropez, and American Apparel neon yellow nailpolish. As you can see, I've made use of the materials that I showed from my last blog spot and made a two-finger chain ring. It's really easy to make!

Museum OOTD

(Guess denim jacket, thrifted black bag, Urban Outfitters pink ruffled tank, black jeans, F21 statement necklace, Claire's cross ring)

Just a casual friday outfit since I was at work the whole day. These photos were taken at the Museum of Modern Art on some white walls tonight because I had to see some works of art for my painting assignment. I'm an absolute art freak. I have a huge love for art history and I actually really want to major in it.

Pink Lace

(Urban Outfitters dress, Guess denim jacket, Fiona grey pumps, Forever21 statement necklace)

I  bought a lot of lace dresses during the winter and saved them all to wear for spring. So here's another that I got from Urban Outfitters as a birthday gift. Don't mind the awkward smile/face.

H&M everything

(  H&M harem pants, black cardigan, gold collar necklace, & taupe suede flats )

I didn't even realize almost the entire outfit was from H&M. The black bag was a thrift from Salvation Army for like $2 (score!) I've had these black harem pants for over a year now. I bought them last spring for $20 and by gosh, that was the best investment ever. Harem pants are so comfortable and versatile. They go well with flats, heels, and boots. If you don't have a pair of these yet I suggest you go out and get them while they're still available in spring colors like pastel tangerine, taupe, and mint!

glitter & gold

(H&M glitter sweater, BDG high waisted jeans, Elgin watch, JCrew bracelet, H&M gold collar necklace)

I've been wearing this necklace religiously since I bought it a few weeks ago. It's the perfect collar necklace & it goes with everything! My aunt also got me this beautiful glitter sweater, which is super warm and has a zipper at the back (but i don't have a tripod to take a photo of it, or friends lol kidding).
By the way, I'm truly sorry if I haven't replied to any comments you guys left in my previous posts! I'll be checking your blogs out ASAP and also thank you for the new followers! (:

arrow bar necklace & girlfriends

This arrow bar necklace is one of my recent purchases. I bought it from Forever 21 about a week ago. I used to get a lot of my clothes from there but now I tend to be attracted mostly on their jewelry. If you don't know yet, I am in love with polyester tops. All the ones I have are thrifted, including this one I'm wearing. I don't know, maybe I just like dressing like a grandmother.

Since it's winter break, I finally got to see my best friends!

 Free Frozen Yogurt!

We sat at Starbucks laughing the entire time because I began a mash-up video on my iMovie of the videos we took that day.
