Brick Walls & Cobble Stone Floors

(H&M dress, UO Staring at Stars cream knit cardigan, Target boots, Vintage backpack)

I spent all of Friday at Sweet & Shiny Bakery in Brooklyn since a good friend of mine works there. I had tons of iced coffee and delicious cupcakes, it was such a bliss. I headed to SoHo later that night to have dinner with my mom and we passed by this stunning street so I had to get a picture.

Blonde Summer

Surprise! I've gone blonde for the summer (: I thought it would be fun to have a lighter hair color but I didn't ever think I was going to go this light. I'm still trying to get used to it but I'll probably keep it for a little while before I go for some shade of red. Now that it's officially summer I've retreated to my usual go-to which is the high-waisted shorts & crop top combo. All I need is a jumbo slurpee and I'm good to go!

Barely Warm

Real friends take pictures of you despite the freezing temperatures. I think my friends have gotten used to my whining

and insisting to take a few shots of my outfits. "It's for your blog. I know, I know..." That's friendship.

I also tried Bareburger for the first time at Forest Hills. They have other branches throughout NYC too. Let me just say,

I never thought organic burgers would taste so good. The onion rings are the bomb. It's better than Shake Shack!

Floral blazer // Studded ankle boots

Look how derpy my face is in the second picture. But more importantly, this bag was on sale at UO from $60 to...wait for it...$20!
I can't even express the amount of satisfaction & joy I have when I got it. Also, I'm just oh so happy that blazer season is at its peak.
I thrifted this floral blazer over the summer and have been waiting for the perfect moment to wear it. I know the pattern doesn't
exactly scream autumn but I'm sure it'll make a re-appearance by next spring. (:

Pink Lace

I bought a lot of lace dresses during the winter and saved them all to wear for spring. So here's another that I got from Urban Outfitters as a birthday gift. Don't mind the awkward smile/face.

Salmon Corduroy Jeans

Hey everyone! Here's an outfit that I wore a couple of days ago when NYC was graced with beautiful 50 degree weather. I actually ended up taking off my leather jacket by mid afternoon during my coffee run for work. I know I barely take a photo with my shoes, mainly because I either wear my brown tassle ankle boots, H&M black studded boots, or leopard loafers.

School and work has been so hectic this past week. So this weekend was the best stress reliever. Painting, hanging with friends, outings with family, and painting my nails! :D

Tomorrow I'll be going to Pearl Paint on Canal St. I'm going to do a huge shopping spree on art supplies for my painting class. I'm much rather spend my money on art than textbooks!

Oh, and tomorrow is the Superbowl! The fridge is filled with super-sized Mike's hard lemonade & Smirnoff Ice yuummmm. GO GIANTS!

OOTD Collection

I love wearing comfy knits and cardigans during Winter, but I find it very hard to take decent-looking OOTD photos while being indoors with sucky lighting. When it comes to taking outfit photos, I prefer natural light but it's just been so cold in NYC the past two weeks that I immediately rush home or to the office building once I get out of the subway.

So in the mean time, here are some unorganized OOTDs taken in store mirrors, the office bathroom, and dressing rooms! :P

black friday haul

Good morning! I just came home a few minutes ago from black friday shopping! I went to Lexington Ave to shop at Urban Outfitters (50% off sale items) and HM ($5 fashion finds and scratch cards for first 300 people). First, I went to Urban Outfitters and got there at 3:40am! Just 20 minutes early for the 4am opening. Then by 5am I was at HM (one block away) and received a $10 off scratch card!

The crowds weren't that bad at all actually. I enjoyed it a lot. When I came home, my parents even dragged me to go thrift shopping where I found a bag!
