Favorite Collar Necklaces

Neckbling is a must in my wardrobe. These are currently the ones in heavy rotation of usage.
3 are new which were given to me as gifts from the holidays. And if you can't tell, I'm a sucker for gold.

Top: H&M Gold spiked necklace; F21 Mint necklace from a friend; Bloomingdale's sapphire necklace from my aunt
Bottom: F21 white geometric necklace from a friend;  Thrifted gold chain necklace;

Jewelry Haul: H&M, F21, Brandy Melville, Topshop

I've gone a bit nuts, right? Jewelry is seriously like crack or candy to me.
These are from H&M, Forever 21, Brandy Melville, and Topshop. I've had my eye on a
few of them, like the crystal bullet necklace but I never got around to buying it until now.
I also went a little crazy with the ear cuffs. I know how to make them but
when I saw that Topshop had them on sale for 75% off, I couldn't resist.
You'll see a lot of gold too, since it's my absolute favorite.

H&M
Gold choker / cuff necklace, gold spike earrings, gold ear cuff, black stone ring, blue stone ring

FOREVER 21
Gold chunky chain necklace, gold tribal-esque arm cuff, gold geometric beaded bracelet, black leaf ring

BRANDY MELVILLE
Crystal bullet necklace (finallyyyyy!), skull bracelet, turquoise stone silver ring, leaf ring

TOPSHOP
Gold chained collar tips, gold ear cuff with feathers, gold ear cuff with charm

Food & Fashion

I promise I'll have some "real" blog posts soon! On Friday I'll be attending an 18th birthday party so I'll be sure to take a few shots of my party outfit, hair, and makeup. As for now, instagram will have to do. I'm actually doing a summer session for college which pretty much means I've been going to school since the month started. The good news is that I only have 8 classes left for psychology! After that, I'll finally be able to show you guys the many many many DIY projects that have been floating in my brain for a long time now...

...such as: pearl-studded collars / shirts, double chain ear cuffs, fan necklace recreation of a Free People necklace, double-finger chain ring, floral pocket tee / shorts, & many more.

Follow me on instagram! @love-confides

When I go easy on the neckbling, I opt for my DIY studded collar.
Thai Iced Tea Slush with rainbow jelly -- you must try!
Last friday's OOTD when I headed out to take Trisha to her first trip to Serendipity 3.
We got 2 delicious Frozen Hot Chocolates and a slice of cheesecake. HEAVEN!
Another OOTD from last week. Neon pink & bright yellow.
Neck blingggggggg.
That one day last week when it reached 100 degrees here in NYC -___- never again, please
Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade and patterned maxi for the win.
Did some shopping at SoHo and passed by Aritzia
but Topshop was the real deal....why?...
....because Topshop had a gigantic sale on bags, jewelry, clothes, the whole shabang!
Of course I walked out buying something.
Went on a serious ice cream run with the wolf pack on saturday night....it was awesome.
Then yesterday, the office gang went out for McFlurries and smoothies....which was also awesome.

Did some more shopping at Forever21 for jewelry and a lace top to wear for Friday's party.
I never wear earrings since I have gauges but when I saw these huge chandelier earrings, I couldn't resist! I threw in some arm candy too of course. (:

Neon Pink, Tribal Nails, and DIY two-finger chain ring

(Gabriella Dolman Top in neon pink from Necessary Clothing, various arm candy from Forever21, gold collar necklace from H&M)

(Tribal nails: Essie Tart Deco, Essie Sand Tropez, AA neon yellow nailpolish)

(DIY two-finger chain ring: 2 ring blanks, 2 jump rings, some silver chain)

The weather was beautiful and I wanted to compete with the sun so I pulled out my new bright neon pink button-down. I'm in love with the color! Last night I also decided to get back on my nail art flow and did a tribal pattern on my nails using Essie Tart Deco, Essie Sand Tropez, and American Apparel neon yellow nailpolish. As you can see, I've made use of the materials that I showed from my last blog spot and made a two-finger chain ring. It's really easy to make!

Floral wasteland

Spring, I welcome you!
I just have to say one thing: Don't be close-minded about Forever21. They actually have really nice stuff every now & then.

(Forever 21 pearl cross necklace)

I'm sure you guys have probably seen me wearing these a billion times but I'm a huge jewelry fanatic and these are some that I wear most often. I have a lot more, especially rings, but I keep leaving my rings everywhere in my house so most of the time I can't even find them LOL! I love love loveee gold so a majority of the time that's what I wear. But lately I've been getting cravings for silver jewelry especially some silver rings.
However, I'm on a "shopping diet." Sounds weird? Well, I'm typically someone who never buys a whole bunch of things all at once. I'll buy something one week and then buy something another but I've realized I'm just feeding the inner spending beast in me. So I decided to take on the challenge of stopping that habit starting this month. I'll just do a huge shopping spree on spring break! :P

Thanks for reading! (:

Mini Haul: Zara & F21

So, I still continue to fail at my goal of getting through at least one week of not buying anything. I just really can't help it. I guess I'm a certified shop-a-holic. In addition, I'm the type to build up a wardrobe months before the next season. Last summer, I started to build up my fall/winter wardrobe. And I suppose this time, the cold weather has been pushing me towards spring/summer -- resulting in these purchases. Smart? I don't know, I have no idea actually. I just like buying clothes.
