Paradise

(Thrifted crop top, thrifted lightweight cardigan, thrifted Wrangler high waisted shorts, eBay black bag)

Vanessa's Dumpling House in Williamsburg

Brooklyn Bridge Park is always going to be one of my favorite places to go to especially during the summer. My friends and I grabbed some ice cream and just chilled on a nice lawn for a few hours. For dinner we took the L train to Bedford Ave and got dumplings and beer. Nothing beats cheap food with good company and we were so full believe it or not!

(H&M dress, UO Staring at Stars cream knit cardigan, Target boots, Vintage backpack)

I spent all of Friday at Sweet & Shiny Bakery in Brooklyn since a good friend of mine works there. I had tons of iced coffee and delicious cupcakes, it was such a bliss. I headed to SoHo later that night to have dinner with my mom and we passed by this stunning street so I had to get a picture.

Blonde Summer

American Apparel white crop tee (here), Urban Renewal Polka Dot Denim Shorts (here)

Surprise! I've gone blonde for the summer (: I thought it would be fun to have a lighter hair color but I didn't ever think I was going to go this light. I'm still trying to get used to it but I'll probably keep it for a little while before I go for some shade of red. Now that it's officially summer I've retreated to my usual go-to which is the high-waisted shorts & crop top combo. All I need is a jumbo slurpee and I'm good to go!

Boho Summer

( Thrifted rose-print dress, H&M hat, Steve Madden "Madhouse" boots )

Happy Summer, dolls! Celebrated the first weekend of the summer with this dress that I've been waiting to wear for about 4 months now. I thrifted it from Salvation Army and it was actually a maxi dress. I hacked off half of it since I thought it would look cuter. I'm excited for this summer! Lots of sunsets, BBQs, and ice treats! (:

Meet me in Montauk

This weekend my family and I went on a little road trip to Montauk in Long Island
for my aunt's birthday. I guess I could say this was my bitter-sweet end to summer.
School starts on Tuesday and......no, I don't even want to think about it!!!!!

I was amazed how tall these grass things were. I don't even know what they are.

I'll have you guys know, I risked my life climbing over these rocks to get this photo.

OOTD: thrifted vintage Louis Vuitton crop top, DIY high waisted shorts, UO sandals,  The Hundreds snapback

My aunt's birthday cake (: Ube Macapuno!

We ate at this cute seafood-shack named LUNCH.
Of course, I picked up a few things: American Flag bandana, Montauk muscle tank, & a Bob Marley bracelet

I've been having just a boat-load of cool summery desserts like raspado and lots of ice cream.

A couple shots of neckbling. Topshop collar chain tips & a Forever21 chain necklace.
I think I'll lay off necklaces for the rest of the season and stick to collar tips though, it's to hot and
sticky having anything around my neck.

Summer would not be complete without a trip to Coney Island/Luna Park. After work, I spent friday
night with one of my best friends there. We got some hotdogs and ate by the ocean, played games at
the arcade, won a Stewie doll, and lastly (which is what I came here for) watch fireworks.

(LOL AT STEWIE)

I watched The Dark Knight rises with my cousins and I went simplistic with black shorts, a floral top,
and my cute bow chain bag. We got some gnarly curly fries and the nice lady gave us free chicken
tenders each ^__^ they were soo soo good. And the movie was awesome!

And of course, my summer pretty much revolves around quality time with family and our
almost weekly BBQs. We had 2 this weekend, one on saturday and an even bigger one on sunday.
If you guys ever come by New York in Queens, hit me up -- I can feed you! ;D

Paisley Power

( H&M paisley dress, Payless heels, Forever 21 curb chain necklace)

Patience really is a virtue. I fell inlove with this dress at H&M when it was first hit the stores early spring. I was so tempted to buy it at the original price of $40.00 -- good thing I didn't. Months later, I was reunited with this dress again only to find it for $20 at an H&M sales rack.

Polka Dots & Kung Fu Tea

Polka dotted navy blue top from Necessary Clothing
Salmon corduroy jeans from Urban Outfitters
Arm candies from H&M, F21, and UO
Necklace from New York & Company

Summer livin' triggers my bubble tea/boba cravings! My neighborhood has both Quickly and Kung Fu Tea, my favorite bubble tea spots. If you ask me, it's the perfect accessory to carry around with you for the summer: it's a yummy drink that keeps you cool and compliments your outfit (haha). As for my outfit, it's a casual sunday so I just did some minor color-blocking and wore comfy nude flats. I'm hoping the weather stays summer time fine for the rest of forever.

Summer In Fisheye

Every year my entire family and a few close family-friends head out to Long Island at Wildwood State Park to go camping on Memorial Day weekend. It feels so good to get out of the city every once in a while and just relax without so much noise. Aside from my digital camera, I decided to make use of my Lomography Fisheye film camera and take a few 35mm shots of my soul-calming three-day weekend.
